Four doors below. Three of them are open. The other one stays shut until something is actually finished, which is the only honest way to run an index.
On the shut doors
Five ideas were killed before Legible was built: AI-visibility measurement, virtual staging, AI photo editing, agentic-commerce tooling and marketplace apps. Each died on evidence — a competitor already shipping it, a price that had collapsed, or a market that did not exist yet.
The shut door is not a placeholder for something already decided. It is shut because nothing has earned them yet.
